Journey with a Pram

Selhurst to East Croydon

For my RSA project I will be designing a journey to make it easier for someone travelling with a Pram. The Journey I have recorded above is of a person I will be working with for my project.

A interview is to follow with this mapping as part of my research.

Time line

Scenario

Above I have designed a Time line to show the process of my project. I have chosen to do The Good Journey

Mind Mapping

The Good Journey (RSA)

Make people to look forward to their daily commute.
Identify a daily journey - either your own or someone else's - and improve it in a way that improves it for many people.

This is the Brief I will be working on. I public transport a lot and there is many area I found that can be change for our everyday travel especially for people with disability and families.

Group mapping.

Mind Mapping

Valuing Water (RSA)

Use design to help people understand the value of water.
Design a means of better communicating and/or revealing the inherent value of water so that people improve their understanding of water as a limited natural resource and a commodity.
Group mapping.

Interesting Designers #2

Marc Atkin:

Is the Second Designer that I have had a interest in since I got into Communication design. His style is close to Vaughan oliver's but what makes him different is that he also videographer and poet. His exposer by living in counties like Rome, Detroit, New York, Warsaw and Paris has made him open his eye by comparing the cultures and integrate them as one.

I have always enjoyed travelling the world and taking picture epically to counties with a lot of  history behind them. Go Back home and experiment in anyway possible  just to see what kind of finial piece I would come up with.

Interesting Designers

Vaughan Oliver:

Is one of the most influential designer to me. This is because how he approaches his work with a none digital aspect. He is still one of the only designers today that believers in going into the darkroom and create your masterpiece that way and not with a computer.

Another reason that draw me to this designer is the work he has done within the music industry. Today these album covers are collectibles, here are just a few Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance and The Breeders.
